Bienvenido!
Welcome to the Little Black Backpack!
Welcome to the Little Back Backpack, a travel blog for travel enthusiasts, not travel experts.
Although I travelled to my 30th country this year, I by no means "know what I'm doing" when it comes to travelling.
Travel planning works best when its an amalgamation of research and reading up on other people's adventures (like mine), and making it up as you go along once you get there, gaining tips and tricks from the people you meet.
My most recent adventure with my Little Black Backpack was to Central America this summer, working our way along the Gringo Trail from Costa Rica to Mexico over 8 incredible weeks. (Mexico isn't technically part of Central America, but is often included in Central America travel routes)

I hope I can share some of my experiences and advice for anyone planning to travel to this fab area of the world (the cute lil squiggle between North and South America).
Cosy in and start dreaming of tropical beaches (and tropical cocktails) and plan your next trip!
Stay tuned for some tips and tricks I've learned adventuring around the globe with my (not so) little back backpack.
